In 1983, 94 international artists created or donated their work to symbolically protest against the apartheid regime. A book was produced in 1996 at the end of the apartheid era on the occasion of the final transfer of the collection to the Art Museum in Johannesburg.

The Second "Biennale d’Arte all’aperto di Cureglia", in collaboration with the architect Aurelio Galfetti, who supervised the exhibition design, allowed us to design the catalogue which has become, at the same time, the most complete monographic work on the sculptor Max Weiss.
