He graduated in 1992 from CSIA (Centro Scolastico Industrie Artistiche) in Lugano. After his first professional experience in Ticino, in 1993 he moved to Paris and began working with the architecture studio of Roberto Ostinelli and the photographer Xavier Barral.

In 1997 he moved to Vancouver, worked initially in the advertising business and later for the Canadian label Nettwerk Records. In 1999, back in Switzerland, he collaborated with several studios in Ticino and also realized a few projects as freelancer. In 2001 he founded Nomadesigners.

She graduated from Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, Department of Industrial Design, in 1993. During her studies she did her traineeships in Paris and participated to an International Design Summer Seminar at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle (ENSCI) - Paris.

After graduating in 1993, she returned to Paris where for the following 6 years she worked as a designer in the sectors of furniture design, exhibit design and product design. In 1999, after a short period in Vancouver, she settled in Switzerland and worked in the field of watchmaking and jewelery. In 2001 she founded Nomadesigners.
